Contracts Manager for the Public Sector

Banjo is looking for a Contracts Manager for the Public Sector to join our team in Utah!

The Contracts Manager for the Public Sector will be responsible for all contract matters including resolving issues, executing agreements and managing contracts related to Banjo’s government programs.

  • Responsible for drafting proposal preparation, contract administration, and other customer contact activities to provide for smooth contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
  • Establish and maintain supplier relationships by serving as a single point of contact for contractual matters; serve as a liaison to internal Legal and Finance departments to timely resolve open unresolved terms or pricing questions. 
  • Manage record-keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation
  • Provide contract-related issue resolution, with both internal and external parties
  • Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate
  • Manage purchasing timelines and supervise proposal preparation; Review and prepare responses to requests for proposals, requests for quotes, requests for information and similar competitive bid documents from potential and existing customers
  • Review and advise on documents prepared by clients, such as statements of work, service level agreements, pricing schedules, and customer obligations
  • Ensure compliance with all corporate policies and directives of Banjo’s General Counsel
  • Identification, analysis, and communication of risk areas throughout the deal cycle
  • Examine contractual performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness; Prepare internal deliverables schedules and track performance against the schedule 
  • Serve as primary liaison to Government contracting officers as well as other Government representatives related to contractual matters


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, finance or other related fields
  • 5 + years of contracts experience involving IT, business transactions, and contract law issues
  • 3 + years of extensive experience in the government area
  • Experience supporting large IT contracts with the government
  • Extensive experience relating to purchasing analysis, proposal submission and negotiation of contracts, subcontracts, task orders and modifications
  • Ability to meet project objectives within designated constraints
  • Knowledge of contract pricing principles, and the ability to apply sound judgment to proposal strategy, contract formation, and customer relationships
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills in dealing with competing priorities, deadlines, and handling multiple tasks.
  • Ability to anticipate informational needs of diverse audiences and tailor communications appropriately
  • Be able and willing to solve challenges; Able to work with minimal direction and supervision; proactive, not reactive
  • High integrity individual with a strong focus on compliance with internal compliance and policies;  Ability to proactively provide guidance to internal customers as needed
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
  • US Citizenship required
