The Head of Business Development will have the opportunity to lead a high-performance business development team,  help lead the early market development efforts, create new eco-system partnerships, and then as the business starts to formulate, help drive growth and impact the way the world manages emergency situations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage, train, and mentor individual BDRs to achieve excellence and exceed targets and quotas
  • Conduct national business development efforts to build high impact relationships, and facilitate the distribution of Banjo content through new and existing partnerships
  • Build and maintain trust-based professional relationships with key decision-makers and use influence within the organization to deliver customer-specific solutions
  • Maintain visibility of top-level customer results to all divisions and executive teams
  • Develop and execute cross-divisional implementation plans for new Banjo customers that maximize opportunity and exceed customer expectations
  • Negotiate the terms of partnership agreements that deliver on expected outcomes
  • Drive a proactive culture of partnership and customer service to discover their “points of pain” and develop solutions
  • Conduct reporting and customer data analysis to analyze partner performance and provide key requirements to technical teams to establish relevant customer tracking and reporting

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business management or a related field of study 
  • 10+ years of business development and management or similar partnership management experience
  •  Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing strategic technology partnerships
  • Extensive experience in technology business development, product management, or government relations 
  • Ability to find and utilize technological advancements to coordinate the efforts of diverse stakeholders to support policy, political or business priorities
  • Startup experience is a plus
