The Operations Analyst will work directly with our public and private sector clients to assist them in navigating the platform. This individual will help clients, as situations unfold, to leverage the Banjo intelligence and implement it within their organization to compress the reactionary gap and maximize resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and respond to alerts and events affecting customers and provide immediate information and assistance as needed; initiate mass communication notifications as required
  • Provide advisory services in innovative ways that demonstrate the power of the Banjo platform across highly-complex and ever-changing situations
  • Work a variety of shifts as needed. The Operations Analyst role will function 24 / 7 / 365 (twenty-four hours per day, seven days a week, and three hundred sixty-five days per year)
  • Operate independently in stressful situations while managing mission-critical public safety operations
  • Exercise discretion in handling state and federally restricted  information and facilitate communication between appropriate team members
  • Build, manipulate, and interpret heat map data
  • Communicate effectively in a succinct manner with various officials at all levels within the customer base 
  • Apply analytical and critical thinking skills quickly and accurately in a high-pressure situation
  • Maintain a working knowledge of current events happening locally and nationwide
  • Work in a high-tech environment and adapt to new tools and innovations
  • Successfully convey complex, technical ideas to a non-technical audience
  • Anticipate needs before being asked, identify opportunities to improve processes and create efficiencies

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Emergency Management, Public Administration, Criminal Justice or related law enforcement field
  • 3 years of professional experience in public safety 
  • Working knowledge of Incident Command System (ICS)
  • Experience with ArcGIS or Analyst Notebook (i2)
  • Experience in incident response including verification of events, and leading incidents through to conclusion
  • Law enforcement, military, dispatch, telecommunications, 911 center, or emergency management experience desired
  • Familiarity with CJIS or UCJIS Compliance Standard and willingness to become certified
  • Willingness to work in a high-security environment
  • Start-up experience is a plus
  • Ability to communicate concisely with administrative and command level emergency response personnel
