Sr. Implementation Engineer

Banjo is looking to add a Sr. Implementation Engineer to join our team in Washington D.C.!!

As a Sr. Implementation Engineer, you will be a part of the team responsible for leading and supporting all aspects of technical client implementation efforts. You must have a passion for solution development and deployment. Successful candidates will have strong communication skills and strong technical skills that can be leveraged to take business requirements and deliver complex technical solutions.

The Implementation Engineer will drive the technical implementation of products in consultation with customers and other members of the team. They are the subject matter experts for product configuration and use.

  • Work closely with customers in the design and implementation of the solution
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers
  • Understand our customers' technical environments and how to most seamlessly and securely integrate/map these to our platform
  • Provide technical guidance to clients and project teams to ensure the solution architecture is aligned with business objectives
  • Schedule and lead quarterly check-in meetings with key customers
  • Consult with customers for discovery and provide solutions
  • Troubleshoot, configure and provide solutions for diverse technical issues
  • Maintain thorough documentation of project work and client interactions
  • Provide timely status updates to management and customers
  • Communicate technical ideas and feedback to the project teams, business stakeholders and non-technical users
  • 50% or more domestic travel. 


  • BA in Computer Science or Software-related discipline
  • 7 + years’ experience in Software Development related industry
  • 5 + years of direct customer service/support experience
  • Experience with APIs and Web Services including XML & JSON
  • Technical knowledge of networking infrastructure and systems
  • Knowledge of network security, streaming video technology, and IoT technology are a plus
  • Working knowledge of API structures, programming languages, SaaS service implementations
  • Comfortable giving both in-person and remote presentations, hold Q&A sessions, run product demos
