Banjo is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT!

Banjo is seeking a Marketing Manager to support the expansion of its unprecedented ethical artificial intelligence throughout public-safety organizations. RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to create impactful marketing collateral to meet the company’s strategic priorities
  • Manage social media channels including content strategy and calendars, draft and publish posts, and provide reports on performance
  • Manage email product marketing strategy and segmentation, including applicable newsletter efforts, onboarding campaigns, and retention initiatives
  • Manage designer to assist with the creation of content
  • Manage occasional PR opportunities

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors or higher degree with at least 3 years of marketing and communications or equivalent experience
  • Excellent copywriting skills. You're comfortable on social media, drafting and line-editing content, email copy and everything in between.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills, and accountable for work every step of the way
  • A stickler for the details. You have exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and self-manage against tight timelines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be resourceful in achieving success in the face of ambiguity while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Expertise with office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft, Google, Apple). Familiarity with Photoshop. 
  • Comfortable working as part of a team and on your own.
  • Displaying highest personal integrity and ethics
  • Start-up experience a plus

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Periodic weekend or evening work is expected.  At certain times of the year – such as quarter-end and year-end reporting periods, may be required to put in extra hours to meet important deadlines.
