Public Sector Project Manager

Banjo is looking for a Public Sector Project Manager to join our team in Utah!

As a Public Sector Project Manager, you will be responsible for championing Banjo’s technology into the public sector on local, state and federal levels. You will work closely with internal and external teams managing government accounts. While prior government experience isn’t required, you will need to learn the ins and outs of working with the government on local, state and federal levels.

You will be responsible for the successful implementation of system deployments and client engagement. You will work closely with business and engineering counterparts as well as leadership to plan the identification, pursuit, and execution of projects. 


  • Oversee all project activities and act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, clients, and internal management
  • Develop and manage project schedules, deliverables, budgets, and related communications
  • Define and document project objectives, requirements, implementation, and onboarding plans
  • Manage client engagement and relationship both pre and post implementations, driving client satisfaction and adoption
  • Own and drive team accountability for on-time, quality outcomes
  • Manage project communications and status updates, driving top/down alignment at all times
  • Oversee user group forums for both UAT, training and roadmap planning
  • Track and manage project cost estimates and actuals, driving resolution when needed on potential adjustments


  • 5+ years Project Management experience
  • Experienced self-starter with highly effective time management and organization skills
  • Seasoned professional in listening, problem resolution and negotiation skills
  • Effective and personable demonstrating passion, objectivity and poise under pressure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, providing visibility to project efforts and managing expectations where needed
  • Ability to proactively drive results amongst multiple stakeholders
  • Collaborative work style, prioritizing outcomes and results over process
  • Experience in a client-facing position and proven aptitude as it relates to managing client relationships
  • Proven ability to handle fast-changing demands in a dynamic environment to meet cost, schedule and client requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of G-Suite
  • Proven wing to wing project management experience
  • Experience with project management software such as Jira or similar
